Programming workshop MOVE & CODE

When you hear the word 'programming', the first thing that comes to mind is numbers. When you hear numbers, the first thing that comes to mind is mathematics. But just imagine, programming is also possible not only with numbers, but with colours and pencils also! In the "Move & Code" programming workshop, children learn the basics of coding in a playful and age-appropriate way. They programme a small robot on their own, the "Ozobot", without a screen. In the process, they invent their own dance programme and teach the little robot very individual movement sequences.

Programming workshop TINKER & CODE

School students aged 11 to 13 learn a lot about the BMW Group's production processes, the development of plants and professions from the past to the present, the role played by artificial intelligence (AI) and why the circular economy is so important. In the practical part, they build a robot in small teams using a programmable building block system and thus acquire their first programming skills.
