BMW Museum
The BMW Museum Munich is located directly opposite the BMW Welt. Here you will discover the BMW brand from its beginnings to the present day as vibrant, awe-inspiring and diverse as nowhere else. Be surprised again and again by the vehicles, designs or prototypes that have made history in every new room you enter. The BMW Museum is as varied as its model range. Enjoy temporary exhibitions on different topics or visit the impressive permanent exhibition with milestones from 100 years of BMW Group history.

Reopening at BMW Welt!
A very special highlight awaits you in the very special opening week from February 10th to 14th: The lovingly decorated and legendary Isetta is driving through the halls and distributing deliciously baked gingerbread hearts to our visitors.
The first rides start as early as 11 am,. Let yourself be enchanted by this charming welcome greeting and enjoy the magic of the reopening.
Experience
Arrival by car.
For all directions - remain on the autobahn until you reach the Mittlerer Ring (2R) exit. On the Mittlerer Ring, follow the signs to "Olympiapark / BMW Welt".
If you have reached the BMW Welt, please follow the signs to the parking garage. The parking garage has a maximum entry height of 2 meters. You are welcome to charge your electric vehicle at our on-site charging stations. All charging cards that are part of the e-commerce charging network are accepted (note: charging costs vary by provider). The parking fees in the garage can only be paid with debit and credit cards. The first 15 minutes of parking at the BMW Welt are free, after that it is chargeable.
We recommend arriving by public transportation, as we cannot guarantee the availability of parking spaces.
Arrival by train.
From the main train station you can reach us by subway in only 15 to 20 minutes. Take the U2 in the direction of Feldmoching to the Scheidplatz stop. Change to the U3 in the direction of Moosach or the Olympia shopping centre (Olympiaeinkaufszentrum) and get off at the Olympiazentrum station. From here it is only a few more steps to the entrance of BMW Welt.
Arrival by plane.
The journey from Munich Airport (MUC) by rental car or taxi takes 30 to 40 minutes. You can also reach us conveniently by S-Bahn or U-Bahn in about 45 minutes. Take the S1 in the direction of Munich to the Moosach stop. Change to the U3 in the direction of Fürstenried West and get off at Olympiazentrum. From here it is only a few steps to the entrance of BMW Welt.

- Monday to Saturday 7:30 am - 00:00 midnight
- Sundays and holidays 9:00 am - 00:00 midnight
Please note:
- Our vehicles are serviced in the showroom from 09:00 to 18:00. For a personal consultation with a BMW Genius, book a free appointment in advance.
- The cash payment option for tickets for admissions, guided tours, parking garage and workshops is not possible at BMW Welt.
BMW MUSEUM.
Tuesday to Sunday: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm (last admission at 5:30 pm).
Please note:
- Refurbishment of the Spotlight Exhibition Area: Until the end of April, we will be refurbishing the Spotlight area for you. During this time, this exhibition area will unfortunately be inaccessible. We apologise for the temporary closure and look forward to presenting the renovated Spotlight area to you soon. Please check our website for updates on the progress of the works.

Admission to BMW Welt is free.
Please note the parking garage fees:
- 15 minutes free of charge
- 2.50 EUR per hour
- 19.00 EUR daily maximum
Parking garage notice: From Friday (March 8th) to Tuesday (March 12th), the parking area P2 in the parking garage will be closed. As an alternative parking option, the parking area in the Olympiapark is available.
